I just came across your blog on google. I lived in Tashi Jong for a few months and also fell in love with the place and the people. Oddly enough I also considered exporting the lama chodpa incense home (UK) to sell on, with the intention of passing the profits back to Popa's FNM charity, though I never acted on it. I wish you the best with that, and with your travels.

Dear erick thank you for that translation!

I was trying to do a translation of the actual mantra (just for interests sake) and came up with the following:

OM blazing battle wheel
conquering wheel
killing wheel
wheel that cuts off arising
wheel that bestows the absolute
penetrating blazing gem wheel
flaming wheel
all powerful army leader wheel
excellently destructive wheel
serpent missile wheel
growing wheel
life surpassing wheel
slaughtering wheel
HUNG PHAT

Exactly how far off track am I? LOL

Now this is an interesting blog! Do you think that by the power that each of us has, through our own intentions and purity of state, we can "charge" non-living objects with our own energy? There is a story in my book, which is called, The Power of Miracle Thinking, http://www.miraclethinking.com, where a woman started a project that is becoming highly successful in which she "refreshes" stuffed animals, like teddy bears, then "charges" them up with Reiki energy and distributes them all over the world to children and adults in need of love and comfort via a network of volunteers. She says the teddy bears carry the Reiki energy with them and help people wherever they wind up. There's a really cool story about a child's interaction with one of these bears that she told for my book. If the Buddha could do it, I think that so, too, can we. - Sincerely, Randy Peyser
